Calton Hill Silhouette

Towards the end of the afternoon yesterday I drove to the car park just behind Holyrood House intending to climb part way up the Salisbury Crags pathway to take a shot of the Parliament, Dynamic Earth and Holyrood in the setting sun. Much to my chagrin I found that the Salisbury Crags pathway is still blocked presumably because of falling rock. I tried to climb the grassy banks but could not get a sufficiently high viewpoint. In the end I had to settle for a telephoto shot of Calton Hill with its well-known silhouettes.
