On Arnside Knott

Yesterday was another lovely sunny day so we went on a morning walk that included descending The Fairy Steps - a narrow and steep gap through a large rock. It is not for the faint-hearted or those of wide girth!

In the afternoon I climbed Arnside Knott, a high hill that gives wonderful views of the surrounding area including the viaduct in yesterday's blip. The gentleman in the shot told me that he's from the village and goes up regularly to watch the colours change.
