Fitting surroundings?

See the wonderful places to which I take my equally wonderful missus.
Arrived at Delhi at dark o'clock and were met by our host, Deepak.  What a gentleman!  Flowers on arrival and a relatively simple run into town.  Being dark, it is difficult to assess the area but I have some reservations.  Thank goodness we had been upgraded to 4 star accommodation, otherwise I would not have had the opporchancity to record the jaunty parking position of the window blinds.  For window read " large slab of perspex, clouded by age and many unsuccessful attempts at opening it.  It doesn't!
Meal in hotel convinced me of my long held principle of not dining where I sleep. Mutton rog Josh was indescribable, so I won't try.
