Shore Temple

Just after sunrise I went to the Shore Temple hoping for good light. This is what remains of possibly a much bigger temple dating from around the 7th Century. There were always legends about a larger temple but the when the sea went out just before the tsunami various remains were uncovered. Although this area was hit, it wasn't affected as badly as places further down the coast.
