Common Waxbills

I love it when I see a 'new' bird for the first time. Even better if I'm able to grab a photo or two. Had a fabulous day with Orchid99, who guided Mr PP and me to a part of Madeira new to us. These lovely little birds were chattering away in the bushes near Ponta da Cruz as we walked west along the coastal path. Had a super lunch at a fish and seafood restaurant, Doca do Cavacas. Took a zillion more pics but the birds won claws down when it came to my blip choice.
