Bonfire

After having a good clear out on the attic yesterday I had a lot of rubbish to burn. As it was fine and no wind this morning I set to, while hubby was out with the dog. I moved two bonfire heaps that I had in various locations around the garden to a new spot, just in case there was anything living in them. (There wasn't). I went out before we ate tea to check  the fire was safe, it was simmering along nicely, will check again before I go to bed and if it doesn't rain hopefully I will be able to re-kindle it in the morning and burn more stuff that is cluttering the shed.
The river is still in flood as it can be seen through the boundary hedge. The corner of the field is still covered in snowdrops.
