Saturday Night Fever

“Today is Seventies disco dancing,” said dance artist Chris Wilson .
 
I turn to a friend and whisper: “Have you ever been to a disco?”
“No,”
“Neither  have I.”
We giggle. She’s is  retired university lecturer.
 

There something incongruous about our group of older women, all in possession of bus passes, learning disco dancing…. We end with a routine from Saturday Night Fever. Great fun- and no drugs.
