Lindisfarne
A visit down to the Gateshead office, where an interesting gallows humour atmosphere seems to be developing. On the way back there was a good clear view of Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island, although unfortunately the only half decent shot I got has dark streaks from rail-side bushes. (It wasn't filth on the train windows this time, Lady Findhorn!).
I encountered two bus drivers who seemed to have lost the plot today - one on my way back from Gateshead to the central station who seemed to be suffering continual road rage (she actually stopped the bus to rant at a taxi driver at one point) and one on a 22 who had a completely full bus at Waverley steps but then stopped and let another 12 folk on at the St James Centre. I baled out at Elm Row and waited around for a while.
Hmm, I wonder how cousins Floyd and Deke are doing back on Holy Island?
