Old fashioned storefront

Walking through the neighborhood of Cadet, I saw this bakery storefront.  We don't often see the old look, as it seems everyone is after "modernisation".  I wonder if this is what it looked like in 1761 when it was first established!  My, my! That was before the Revolution! What stories could be told!
