Scafell Pike

Lunch in a cloud on the summit of Scafell Pike.

For about 8 years now I have marked the start of the summer holiday by going away walking, either on a long distance point to point route or, as in this case, on a series of hill walks.

The chaps pictured here are my walking companions and over the next 3 days, as well as bagging a few Wainwrights, we will likely as not come up with viable solutions that will address most of the major economic and social problems facing the world at present!

This is the second time I've been up here and not been able to see anything.
