Hue

Today, we traveled to Hue. Brimming with history, Hue is the old capital and Royal city of Vietnam. We visited the Imperial City where the Royal family used to live under the Nguyen Dynasty. The scale of the buildings were incredible. We walked around the palace and the old fortress, visiting the exhibitions and learning about the history of Hue.
However, instead of needing the usual suncream and sunglasses we had to get out our jumpers and raincoats. We felt right at home- it was cold, wet and windy. We were not impressed!
