Moments earlier...

...this little squirrel (that tiny thing you can see in the background!) was within a few inches of Meg's nose. But my phone was in my bag :(

And Meg didn't lunge for the squirrel which amazed me. The squirrel had seemed to feel quite safe eating literally a couple of hand widths in front of the dog's nose!

There were dozens of squirrels digging up acorns in the Spring sunshine in utter delight and abandon.

It was below freezing which is why now I am back home, I am radiator hugging with blankets round me !!!
