Kelpie

We ventured further afield today to Falkirk to see the kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel.

We'd been told you can park at the kelpies and walk along the canal to the wheel. So we set off but after going for twenty minutes along the towpath with no sign of the wheel we decided to retrace our steps and drive there.

It turns out that the wheel is on the other side of the town to the kelpies - a four mile walk in each direction. So while it's perfectly walkable to be sure it's not the short stroll we'd been led to expect.

Both the kelpies and the wheel are amazing objects in their own ways. No prizes for guessing which this is.
