Lomondgate Stag
Monarch Of The Myre; a 20ft high, two tonne galvanised steel sculpture by Andy Scott - 2012.
Located on a roundabout at the entrance to the Lomondgate Business Park, Dumbarton.
The stag is shown perched on top of a raised plinth to give the impression of standing in water with a reflection underneath.
In heraldry, a stag is a symbol of regeneration and growth, which is appropriate here as the Business Park was set up to regenerate a large area decimated by industrial closures.
