On" Poplar Street? Doesn't have quite the same ring as Dr' Seuss's classic. But it was memorable! The first annual McBride Lake Canada Day Parade had seven official entries and a parade marshall. We served by watching, flag waving and clanging pot lids from our driveway as the parade made its way through the subdivision. The dogs were delighted with their luck when participants threw peanuts to the watching...crowds.
