Milan Cathedral

Fifth largest church in the whole world, I am reliably informed and she's certainly big. I took the wide angle with me but this is an iPhone shot since I can't offload the 7d until I get home.

The stonework is exquisite, and much of it is currently being renovated. We were able to walk on the roof and get close up to the filigree stone and marble ornamentation that covers the whole building.

I dare say a few pics will end up on Flickr when we get home... if I can access my Flickr account - because that went a bit wrong just before we left, with a password reset sending me to a whole new account! Hey ho.
