The White Lion

Today I met cousin J for lunch in the White Lion a delightful historic building dating back to the 17C. Shame the food was "big chain".  J  has just been made redundant after working full time for 30+  years     Being made redundant is terrible stressful and she could retire but has not yet got into that mindset. I was able to offer a listening and supportive ear having gone through a similar experience 3 years ago.  Lunch lasted 3 hours. It's the longest conversation I have ever had with her.
