Grasmere

The road from Keswick to Grasmere has been closed since the floods on 5th December...

It is due to reopen in May...

This week buses have been allowed to travel from Keswick to Grasmere and back along a forest road!

We took the opportunity to try it out today! We bought Grasmere gingerbread and walked around the lake in the sunshine! ( cool breeze though )

Wordsworth said Grasmere was the loveliest place that man hath ever found!
