A record shot of the blossom on the ornamental prunus outside our kitchen window. Also my contribution for FlowerFriday, hosted by BikerBear. It's been flowering for a week now, in what is normally the coldest, wettest month of the year. I see I have an inadvertent blipsnap with WharfedaleBex -- I'm surprised it's also flowering in the northern climes of Yorkshire!

Last year's blip of this tree was dated 17 March. On which date I was expressing the hope that the buyout of Blipfoto from the liquidator would prove successful. We all know how that turned out. However there is great news from the Fab Four today -- things are moving ahead, and soon that ill-conceived Polaroid branding will be gone!

The weather forecast for this weekend is so dire that S cancelled his planned walk for fear of too much snow. It was sunny this morning, but now the clouds have moved in -- battening down the hatches for downpours tomorrow!
