Peupliers Patio

Taking a walk around the triangular Square des Peupliers  which we see out our back windows (it's clear on the map if it's enlarged sufficiently), I was struck by the decorative elements in this narrow front patio.  I reached my camera between the vertical bars of the fence to take the shot.  The colored branched structure (sculpture?) reminds me of some works by the French artist  Niki de Saint Phalle, whose exhibition at the Grand Palais we saw last year.

In the Six Nations tournament France was beaten by Wales in Cardiff, 19-10, for its first loss--after two wins; they still have a chance to win the tournament, if they beat England in their final game three weeks from now.
