Attempted to drive from North London to Crowborough in two and a half hours on a Friday evening. Silly. We didn't move for one hour. We turned our engine off twice.

We arrived an hour and a half late due to two major traffic incidents and then animals on the carriageway. :-{

One of the incidents kept the M25 closed until after our return journey so actually, we could have travelled to Devon and back in the same time.
