Squirrel Blip Friday: Handfed

This is my friend Notch who seems to have a new identifying mark.  It looks like a puncture, maybe from a bite.  I've been watching it and it doesn't seem to be getting any worse since I first noticed it a week or so ago and he seems to be as active and hungry as ever.  Of all the squirrels who visit, only he and a female black squirrel will take peanuts from my hand.  The other day I was reading on the deck and I looked up and he was sitting on the railing an arm's length away waiting to be fed.  Very cute!
