A Change from Green

Out for a late cycle last night it was nice to see some different colour amidst all the green!! It's never been so green and lush at this time of year in all my time in Montrose and flowers have been taking a battering with all the rain. At least it has been dry for most of today but still grey overhead. Will we ever see the sun again? Well the BBC Scotland weather forecaster says the sun is shining 24/7 - it's just we don't get to see it all the time!

Also found some wonderful poppies growing wild on a waste bit of ground - took some photos but in the poor light and with the iphone the results weren't great. Might go back tomorrow with my camera and blip them.
