Beijing Airport

This was the day Jenny and I set off on our separate holidays. It was Chinese New Years Eve and my flight took off just after nightfall. This made for a breathtaking view of millions of flashes from fireworks and firecrackers all the way to the coast which made the ground look like a glittery carpet. It really was a sight to behold, even the cabin crew were looking out of the window at it which is rare. The coast was clearly visible despite the pitch blackness because you could see a line where the sparkling stopped. Amazing.
