Leeds Liverpool Canal

While my son was at his theatre group, I walked 7.5km, going along the canal and back. Even in the latter stages of winter, when the air is still, there is a beauty to the canal. The graffiti adds a little extra colour. This area, being higher up than the river, wasn't affected by the flooding, so there isn't the remains of detritus still piled up. Looking down to the river there is still plenty of work to do, and fences still down.
