Greifensee

We stayed at home this weekend. Charming sunny day today. Walked in the aftenoon 2/3 around the Greifensee which is just behind the hill where we live. Good 2.5 hours of brisk walking, with a Crêpes and Espresso stop half way. We did not do the full round but used the boat back to to our side as the wind got a bit chilly and the prospect of early dinner at home increasingly tempting.

Greifensee is a wonderful nature reserve especially for birds. However it still also allows a lot of outdoor activities for walkers, families, joggers, skaters, cyclists, fishers, rowers, stand-up paddlers and swimmers (not today).

T-bone tonight (winter BBQ on terrace at sunset) with garlic potatoes and Pauillac 1999. Brie de Meaux warming up to room temperature quietly. ;)
