Thank you all for the views, comments, stars and hearts on yesterday’s 1,000th blip ……. my inboxes have been working overtime. Did I say something about a few days rest before the next blip?

I must have looked very conspicuous taking flash photos at first light outside the post office today, but knew this was the only way to get the dark background I wanted. Good news is that the police didn’t turn up and that I got 6 shots before the battery failed.

A lovely moonlit start to the day but cloudy and very cold later. Apart from a drive to the garden centre to buy pansies it's been a day to stay indoors and keep warm.
