Spring-Winter

Out on the kick sledges today for a walk in the sun. Last night it was -19° C but the spring sun warms the world so it was a balmy -6° C when we out.
On the way home we sat with a barn behind us, sheltering us from the breeze, and the sun shining on our faces and it felt warm and comfortable. This is the spring-winter, a glorious extra season that can be enjoyed in snowy climes such as the mountains or Scandinavia.
