Bath Time

As cloudy and cold as it was yesterday, it's sunny and warm (well, by Wi. standards--54 degrees) today, so lots of people out and about; a few dumbo's young people even wearing shorts and no jackets, but trust me, it wasn't THAT warm!!  I met my friend Deb for breakfast this morning, and 2 1/2 hours later we finally left the restaurant--we always have such fun together that the time flies by--I left the waitress an extra big tip since she couldn't turn our table over, & she was very friendly and helpful--kept the coffee coming! Stopped at the beach on the way home & the geese were all in bathing, so I practiced shooting in sports mode on "continuous" in preparation for the rodeo on Wed.
Then my sister called to voice her frustration.....they have a cottage on a lake in northern Wisconsin, which is about 5 hours north of where we live...and they go there all year round. Her husband wanted to go up this weekend & wanted her to come along, but she didn't want to go as she had lots of things she wanted to get done this weekend. However, he kept telling her he wanted her to come so they could spend some time together so she said ok and went. They drove up there last night with 2 of her 4 boys having come with them, and about an hour or so later, their oldest son pulls in along with his cousin and a friend. This morning, all 6 of the guys, her husband included, go off on the snowmobiles & decide while they're out driving  that it would be fun to go all the way across the UP (upper peninsula, which is actually part of Michigan), spend the night, and come back tomorrow. Her husband calls her on the cell phone to let her know the plans.......she said:  what happened to "I want you to come along so we can spend some time together"?  His answer? "Oh, we can do that NEXT weekend"!  Gotta love it!  :))
