Slimbridge collage

A change of plans today, so our back up plan is always Slimbridge if the weather is OK.  A cold Easterly wind but smug inside layers and Paramo outer trousers and jackets.  We were rewarded with some sunshine, and some lovely sights.  The woodpecker paid an extremely brief visit (seconds) at the same time as I was photographing the tree creeper.  The three swans were quite unusual as they were happy together and spent a long time.  The flamingoes were basking in the sunshine.  The Eider Ducks were cooing.  All in all a good few hours.  Then home for a bath and ready to watch England vs. Ireland (pleased with the result)!
