Battlefield

Took a trip to Shrewsbury and stopped off at Battlefield on the way.
This was the site of the 1403 battle between the Henry's - Henry IV and a rebel army led by Henry 'Harry Hotspur' Percy.
The site is now noted for it church (closed when we arrived), a farm shop and cafe with excellent scones (according to my friend Pauline), and a pub - called the Two Henry's which dad and I went to for lunch.
We then had a post lunch beer with my brother and his wife at The Dolphin. Didn't actually find out why it was so named - not a dolphin in sight. Today was their 29th wedding anniversary - how time flies.
