Laundry service

I have been missing from blip for 3 weeks as we have been on a trip to Southern India!
It was a brilliant experience! We saw lots of Temples, wild life - including lots of very pretty birds. We went on an amazing early morning boat trip, two train trips and a Houseboat on the backwaters of Kerala. We also went round a couple of villages and ended up swimming in the Arabian sea, which was like a foamy bath! There were big surfing waves but the water was so warm. We were amazed how much fun the locals were having and that the ladies were in the sea in their saris!
The people are so friendly and hospitable and they kept asking to have their photos taken with us! 
All in all we had a wonderful time.
This blip is taken at a laundry in Kerala. There were about 20 sections with people doing hand washing. It seemed to be mainly hotel sheets and towels but there were some clothes and lots of shirts. 
The extra pictures show the washing drying on coir rope twisted lines which at one point we saw being made from the husks inside coconut shells. The other one shows a man ironing some shirts. They were starched using rice water and were immaculate by the time they were finished.
