Fell Foot Parkrun

I was marshalling at our normal Parkrun today so it gave me a chance to take photos. I stuck the best of them on Flickr. This is my son rounding my bollard after running up the hill. They had to pass me 4 times as the route has been adjusted due to flooding. Such a fabulous atmosphere with a range of people from the super fit & fast (1st finish in 17 minutes!), some strong youngsters like my son who this time was 16th male, steady plodders which normally includes me and nervous first timers.

Youngest runner was aged 4 and youngest participant (in a buggy) was only 8 week. Today's oldest participant was in her late 60s but we normally have some in their 80s running as well.

Fun and fitness in a beautiful surroundings.
