Nest

Today at breakfast we saw this hummingbird building the little nest. It's tiny, almost appropriate for tiny Tuesday. What a lovely scene. We saw it coming and going several times bringing little twigs, petals and leaves, and then resting on it for a while. The eggs might be there already. I took this photo from behind the window. Now I understand CAGirl's fascination with her family of hummingbirds, and Inge's with the squirrel's visits.
