After a little trip round Ayr we popped into the Airport to see if anything was about.  This Flybe aircraft was doing a few training circuits at the airport.
 
It is a Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 which was delivered in 2009.  It is operated by Flybe as a low cost regional commuter aircraft.  Flybe will become the operator of the largest fleet of the Q400 planes in the world when the order for 15 new aircraft are delivered, adding to their current fleet of 50.
 
This particular plane is painted in the airlines new colour scheme.  The original colour scheme can be seen in this shot of another aircraft in the fleet.
