Wai o Tapu

Today we revisited Wai o Tapu which l think is one of the best thermal areas. The colours are always magnificent and there is lots to see and so varied. This picture was taken on a panoramic setting which l am just mastering and shows the boardwalk out over the terraces. There had been a bit of rain during the night so there was plenty of boiling mud (such a satisfying sound) and lots of steam, making it seem quite atmospheric.
