Ragtime Redux

On Wednesday I showed a piano player at the Farmers Market--it was a teaser for the Ragtime Festival that bubbled over several venues, from a pub to a church to a jazz club, all day today. This piano was set up at a busy intersection in the heart of downtown, and piano players rotated every half hour, smooth as can be. Great upbeat free music to be enjoyed by all ages. This little girl ran herself ragged dancing to the happy sounds. I love it that they both have red hair. Other folks stood around with coffee or ice cream on this lovely warm day, bouncing on their toes and applauding wildly at the great showmanship and skills of the artists.
