Commander Scott Kelly who has been on the International Space Station for almost a year was interviewed on the evening news. He will return to earth this coming week on March 1.

The Space Station has been wtiness to over 5,000 sunrises in the year the Commander Scott has been on board. He says he wishes he had seen all of them, but he hasn't.
When he arrives on earth, he will have orbited the planet 5,440 times, for a total distance of 143,846,525 miles, according to the New York Times.

I can't imagine being gone from home for that length of time.
