At the Stepping Stones

Early this morning Maisie and I drove to the UpperTaylor River Tracks. We had an early start to avoid the heat of the day. Once at our starting point we followed the same route I often walked with Maisie's predecessor, Fergus. We walked as far as the bridge crossing the river to Meadowbank Station. There are lovely big stepping stones crossing the river under the bridge. Maisie skipped backwards and forwards across the stepping stones, she paddled and had a drink at the water's edge waiting patiently while I captured some photos. Once over the river we returned to the vehicle via Turnbull's Vineyard.... A very long walk for a little dog. She played with a number of other dogs en route.... generally in little doggie heaven.
