Two firsts...

Two firsts for me today. I've never seen a great crested grebe flying around before - they normally fly at dusk. I've also never watched a mute swan courtship all the way to them forming a heart before....both of them amazing to watch. I was way too close to the swans (they were next to the path) and didn't realise in time what was going on. So I decided to watch & go for heads rather than move away and miss it all.smile emoticon
