Red Shank

A stunning spring day today in Scotland.

Some more gardening in the morning and a visit to Kilmory knapp beach with Snapper this afternoon. All the locals were out on the beach enjoying the warmth of the sun.
This Red shank was paddling it's feet along the shore on the way there and there was enough light to use my big lens.

Off out tonight to Book club where we have been reading "The Summer Book" by Tove Jansson, a truly delicious book.
