Robin Hood Country

Up early for a trip to Sherwood Forest for the the Midland Orienteering Championships. The fast underfoot conditions led to longer than usual courses which suited runners rather than the navigators.

Enjoyed my run but could not compete with the faster ladies. On finishing we were all rewarded with a Kit Kat.

We had a wander after the run. The good weather certainly brought the crowds out to enjoy a walk in the woods.
