Walking with Lapwings

We headed out for a bike ride today. Just after we started, we met these southern lapwings walking. I got off my bike to follow them till I could take a picture. If you take a safety distance of 10m, they really don't mind. I like when lighting is favorable and we can see their beautiful eye's colour. We went back to our bike ride very happy...
