Spanish Marching Band

There was a very good band marching round Cartagena harbour today. About half were playing instruments, the rest were carrying a variety of weapons..the leader had a handsaw (?), and there were also pickaxes, spades and muskets.....
It was very impressive, if a little bewildering. Possibly related to the Spanish civil war?..Cartagena was the last city to hold out against Franco....
