Shark
Backblipping, having returned from a few days away.
This summer is a busy one for the family and only one week sees us all 'home' at the same time - so we planned the 'family holiday' for that week. We were going to spend some time at on the South Downs as that's an area of the UK we've not visited, but since A's stroke we rearranged the holiday to be in the Forest of Dean. This is another area we've not visited before, and it puts Oxford en-route in both directions so we can combine holiday travel and practical visits here.
We headed over to Oxford with the first aim of collecting A from the care home / hospital and taking her home, as this had now been agreed by all the agencies involved. Exiting from the back door of her room there the strains of Genesis' "Home by The Sea" drifted through my mind...
Climbing through a window, stepping to the floor.
Checking to the left and the right
Picking up the pieces, putting them away
Something doesn't feel quite right
Help me someone, let me out of here.
In Headington, Oxford is the Headington Shark - it's art; allegedly.

Later we picked up M from the train station. The signage to Oxford station is atrocious - even knowing where it was it was difficult to find!

Unsurprisingly, it is raining. Tomorrow we go camping...
