Mrs Whitlam's Building
The beautiful Margaret Whitlam Pavilion is a unique venue at the National Arboretum for private functions for up to 80 guests. Named after the wife of Australia's 21st Prime Minister, Gough Whitlam. Margaret Whitlam was an outspoken public speaker, broadcaster and columnist. As a qualified social worker, she was particularly interested in social issues. Mrs Whitlam died in March 2012. The Pavilion was completed in 2014.
