Nong Khiaw

Today we arrived in Nong Khiaw, 3.5 hours north of Luang Prabang. The bus ride was in a little mini van over roads covered in potholes and little tarmac, our bums and neck were sore on arrival. This little town is on the river and has very little to do but relax in riverside bungalows. There are not many tourists around, the town consists of 2 streets of local stores, a bridge and a couple of guesthouses' and restaurants. We came here to chill out and save some dollars before Cameron's friend, Dean joins us in a weeks time. We found the best little Indian restaurant here, the food was mouth watering and I will be eating here for the next 3 days.
