The main photo is a shot of the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier, from the side of the USS Midway aircraft carrier. The USS Midway is an amazing museum, with great exhibitions about the ship itself, and the battle it is named after. The Midway came into service eight days after the end of WWII, and served into the 1990s. Being the main flag ship in the first Gulf War.

The bonus shot is the modern skyline of San Diego, as taken from the main deck of the USS Midway
