Fledge, feed, fear

Another dreary day - my only trip out was to the dentist, but just a check-up, and all clear.
As I mentioned recently, we have plenty of blue tit and great tit fledglings in the garden. My walking companion yesterday commented on how fearless new fledglings were, prompting me to speculate that the sequence of learning for these little guys was probably
1) flying
2) feeding themselves
3) steering clear of hazards
In the meantime, it's nice to see them getting to grips with no. 2 at our garden feeding station, as this great tit is about to do.
