Not a sad day

The Boss’s friend has passed after living 3 years longer than anyone ever thought with a 3% kidney function and without dialysis.

Geoff was a grrreat bloke.

He led an amazing life from the depression years of 1933 to successful major motel owner, a path formed on sheer hard work and total dedication and he had a ton of fun on the way.

In his late 70’s he discovered and mastered Photoshop which probably tells you all you need to know.

The Boss will remember him forever on the basis of a single image that Geoff submitted to his photo group shortly after the Christchurch earthquake.
 
There was this young child, dressed in white running towards an undamaged Christchurch Cathedral with a white dove rising to the sky.

This was a photoshop construction from Geoff and The Boss cried when he saw it.

His family organised this non religious service which was full of laughter and wonderful stories and it was fun.

NOT a sad day.
